Corporate Headshot

You have the option of either coming to my home studio or I can bring my full portrait studio to your location so that you and your team remain focused on what’s important.

The first thing a quality corporate headshot communicates is professionalism.  But beyond capturing a beautiful portrait, the headshot needs to project the image each client wants to create in their audience’s mind.  And everyone has their unique vision of that impression.  That’s why it is important for me to spend time with my clients to create a plan for the photo shoot that realizes their vision.

Consultation

Prior to becoming a photographer, I had a successful career in Public Relations, which means I understand the importance of communicating the best possible image to my client’s target audience.  Along those same lines, my goal as a photographer is to get each client to look their honest best, keeping in mind that their public image is one of their most important assets.  I meet with each of my clients to review their branding, image, website design and marketing needs in order to develop a plan that fits with their overall business goals.

I tell clients everything they need to know in order to prepare for their photo shoot.  We’ll go over hair, clothing, makeup, jewelry and background so that everyone looks their best on the day of the shoot.

Day of the Shoot

Before the day of the shoot, we will have decided on a few things in order ensure the shoot goes smoothly and efficiently.  We’ll have these important details already worked out:

  • where I will set up my studio (usually a large conference room)
  • sent an email to everyone on what to wear and tips on hair, makeup, shaving, etc.
  • developed and distributed a schedule telling each employee the time of their shoot and how long it will take
  • I will arrive at your location an hour early to set up my studio and check lighting.  I’ll spend ten to fifteen minutes with each individual taking pictures in various poses to make sure we have plenty of great images to choose from.

Online Proofing

After the shoot, each client receives their own private gallery of the best images that I’ve selected.  My proofing system allows you to make comments and suggest changes to areas of each photo.  My online gallery is easy to use, allowing clients to make selections at their leisure from their office computer or at home.

Image Finishing

Looking your best doesn’t end with the photo shoot however.  Because the camera sees differently than our eyes, post-shoot adjustments need to be made to each image to get the most natural looking result.  The old saying is true – the camera does add ten pounds – and can make your nose look bigger too!   There is an art and science to retouching image so they look natural and not over-processed.  My final image will have you looking your best without looking fake.

Flexible Online Ordering

Once your selected images have been finished, I’ll post them in your gallery so that you can easily download high-resolution images straight to your computer.  I also offer a large variety of print and mounting options to choose from.
